View Full Version : Good deal on a Bushmaster 20" HBAR Upper w/ Leupold Scope?

I can get a Bushmaster 20" HBAR 1/9" Upper with a 3x9 Leupold Scope for $750. I really want to get a 16" LMT upper with 1/7" twist, Picatinny rails and a forward pistol grip. I'd want to eventually buy the Bushy, but for my first build I wanted to make an M4gery.
My main question is this: Should I just buy the Bushy now and hold off on my other build plans and buy that later?
PS: No, I don't want to tell you where I'm getting this deal because I don't want one of you scooping it out from under me :D.

It may be a deal if its a real Leupold with it.
But there have been alot of phony Leupold's running about saying they are genuine Leupold scopes.
Buyer beware as the saying goes.

It was a Leupold VX-II 3-9x40mm.

Is this all used, with B/BC/CH, and is it a basic upper, with no fancy handguards/rails/whatever?
A used VX-II 3-9x40 is worth maybe $200, though I paid less for mine. Rings can be worth anywhere from $10 to $100.
Don't know about Bushy so much, but you can get a new Stag M4 upper with an ARMS #40 for $490 shipped, or without the ARMS for $425.
Not any kind of a special deal, as far as I can tell. If it's all brand new, it's pretty good, but if it's used, it's only fair to middling, unless there's something special there.
