NDS-3 reciever - about $90 after all fees at metroshot.com or coldwarshooters.com or many other places.
Romy kit about $100-$140 - all over the place - do search for it on google.
US copmliencce parts ( several places I got mine from TAPCO) - about $50.

Misc. part $20. So you are done for about $250-$300.

I would think there's a reason you don't see people walking around with homemade AK47's. People like their freedom and pass on things like, felonies, having a cell mate, having your family visit you and bring you smokes. Yeah, that's probably why you don't see many. Get yourself an AK22. They look like an AK47, but it's rimfire and 22. Completely legal and that's always the way to go. Better yet, buy yourself a vacation home in Arizona and as a resident, you can buy AK47's, AR15's WITH detach mags, 50.CAL BMG and other fun family toys. Yeah, those people in Arizona are lucky. It must be nice to live in America. lol

You are mistaken, plenty of people have homemade AKs in CA. It is perfectly legal as long as it is SB23 compliant.

You're forgetting something important, the Kasler list ;) .

Are any of those listed AKs even available for sale as stripped receivers?

I believe the OOW receivers are listed.

I'm a big NDS-3/Romy G fan. I've built one fixed mag, and am starting a second which will be gripless.

Well I heard OOW receivers let the bolt carrier jump the rails anyway. I just use flats so Kasler has never crossed my mind. :D
