Hi Mark,
Thank you very much for you answer. Do the employees at the Range ever check for Paper Work on OLL?

No. Just make sure you follow ALL the safety rules and that your OLL is legally configured.

Try a Place To Shoot in Saugus/Santa Clarita. Obey the range rules and there is no hassle. You will have to explain to the range master why you can't remove the magazine at the cease fire command, he'll understand.http://www.aplacetoshoot.net/

I bring my OLL there from time to time and I was never hassled by the line men. I just pop out the rear pivot pin and scissor it open on its side.

+1 for the angeles range. All the guys running the line are real cool.

The line guys at Angeles can be jerks when they need to be, but that's what they get paid for. Unfortunately, I've seen some very bad behavior on the part of shooters there, including one idiot who actually popped off a shot after the line had been suddenly closed because a deer wandered onto the range. The line guys there earn whatever money they make and I appreciate their help in keeping things safe. I've never seen them hassle anyone for any particular kind or rifle. They are there to enfore the range safety rules, not bust shooters. Of course, you never know who's shooting next to you...
