Working in Kydex?

HI CG

Was wondering what type of kydex is best to make a "Shield" that wraps around the forward section of the buttstock, and swings down to wrap around the p-grip to prevent the thumb from doing it's evil thing? Also where to buy it?

(Simular to the AR15/ knife thing that another member did, but without the complexity of the scabboard. )

Thus allowing the ever popular monkey paw grip!

ETA: eliminating the sheath saves you only one heating and pressing step.
