View Full Version : 20" 416 Stainless Steel Bull Barrel Muzzle Brake options

I've got a 0.9xx diameter bull barrel 20" 416 stainless steel upper 5.56mm that I've been thinking about braking.

Only thing is it's not threaded.

So, I could thread it and get a brake on there, but OC Armory told me that most muzzle brakes out there are thinner in diameter than my barrel, which would make it look pretty weird with a brake thinner than my barrel (plus, it will cost $110 to thread + brake price).

What other options might I have, and what would you recommend?

A JP Tactical might fit your bull barrel. They have two different profiles available on their site.

Below are a couple of links to threaded brakes with offerings for bull barrels:

Can't think of any clamp on styles for a .9xx OD though.
