I picked up my Noveske FFL lower today and got it all assembled. I got it mated up to my dissipator upper (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=414955), and it's ready to rock n roll.

I decided to keep it featureless because the flared magwell deserves to be used the way it was designed to.

First impressions, the lower is well build, like any Noveske product, but it really only has two features that are different from their previous lowers; the magwell and integrated trigger guard. However, unlike other lowers with similar features, this one is forged instead of billet.

Tomorrow is game day, but since it's not mated to a Noveske upper, I don't think there are going to be any problems with the lower.

Here are the pics! Did I mention I am excited?!

Nice, what did it cost? The finish on my Noveske lower sucks.... The upper is as nice as they come though

I was under the impression that Noveske wasn't shipping stripped lowers at the moment. Where did you find that beauty and how much did you pay?

Are you left handed?

^ probably b/c of the monster man... that's why the safety is on the otherside

Thanks! I can't wait to see how it shoots with the MM grip.

I got lucky. They are not available yet is my understanding. Mines in the double digits. I don't know when they will be available, but Sheri told me I am the first in CA and one of the few in the US to have this lower.

That's it! I got a Colt reservable safety because it is very easy to manipulate from the right side.

That setup wouldn't really work for a lefty. With a MM grip, your thumb would stay on the left side.

If it was a pistol grip setup then the safety would be better for a lefty.

Thanks! Ever since I saw a dissipator I wanted it. Today I am going to zero it using the RIBZ method.

So I got her sighted in using RIBZ and it works great! I had it hitting 7" steel at 100 yards in 6 shots of zeroing. Pretty good method if you ask me. Here is the link to setting RIBZ:

Also if anyone is interested in a free floating setup, PM with questions.

I HATE the monsterman grip but on your rifle it looks good. Niiice rifle and also like the comp. What is that again? I know it but can think right now. How does it shoot with that grip also?

The brake is made by AAC. The grip is . It works, but makes the manipulation of gun different.

Nice lower I've been waiting on those for a few months now. Is it much heavier than standard lowers?

I'm getting 2 as soon as they're available.

They weigh the same to me. Not much of a difference there.

POF and LaRue. The Larue lower is billet, not sure about the POF. Let's not forget the Magpul MPL lower.

I got lucky. They are not available yet.

Remember that this lower has the some of the features only found on billet lowers. This one is forged.

I finally drosed my two Noveske GenII lowers today. :D Can't wait to take them home and build them. I already have all the pieces to complete one.
