View Full Version : Adapter needed for AR SP1 upper pivot pin??

I have an old AR upper from the pre-ban era. The front pivot pin is thicker than the one on my new LMT lower. When I put these together there is an additional 2-3mm of "play" in the upper. I haven't tested it yet, but I'm imagining that this may cause feed issues.

Does anyone know of an adapter that is made to solve this??

Thanks,

A

Its a Colt non-mil-spec upper issue. Bushmaster, Brownells, RRA, DPMS, Midway USA all sell the kit to fix this issue.

It is called an "offset" pin.

It is called an "offset" pin.

I think the offset pin is for a different condition; large pin lower with small "mil spec" upper.

The part the OP needs is an "offset bushing" for the large pin upper on a small "mil spec" lower.
