Can u change the mag lock on these. I live way up north not many options up here for ak-47. they want an arm and a lag to have a gun sent to any of the FFL around so i would end up paying more online after fees.

Yes you can modify the mag lock yourself really easily. Besides removing evil features (darn that evil grip), use a dremel to take out the old mag catch pin, punch out the pin, use new mag catch and new mag catch pin, install new mag lock ( I personally used the solar tactical and can't recommend it enough), reinstall your evil evil features, enjoy.

I did it, and I guarantee you if I can do it, you can.

Don't by it cause arsenal modified the mag release. From what i've read, arsenal will give you some sort of a voucher to ship the rifle back in case you move out of cali that don't require a bullet button and they have to convert it back. Also the tool arsenal provides to release the mag is proprietary. I think you can only use that tool that arsenal provides to release the mag, but not 100% sure. I figure why buy that and go through the trouble of doing it ur self but if you don't care go buy the sgl 23-61.
Try henderson defense. They have the sgl 21 (23 is the cali model) and henderson will put a solar tatical bullet button on it. Basically the ST bullet button fits around the bullet button with screws and that's it. No modification. And when you go out cali all you have to do is just unscrew it and you'll have your original mag release.

I've been researching this for a few months now and i'm about to buy one probably this week.
