I just found out about this a few days ago.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for rifles chambered in 357 magnum.

Nah, I kind of like it. Can probably handle some pretty stout loads. Put a red dot on that sucker or may a 4x and you're good to go for a decent brush gun.

Since I already own a 77/44, I think I HAVE to get this one and have the "baby brother".

.44mag and .357mag are hands-down my two favorite pistol calibers. Rifles chambered in them are icing on the cake.

.357mag in a rifle is definitely powerful enough to be used as a deer gun too.

They will sell a ton of these in sates like IN that restrict hunters to pistol calibers.

I don't see the point of a .357 rifle. Now, in terms of pistol-caliber rifles, I like this one:

Makes a handy little rifle can shoot fairly light loads or pack a whallop. .357 makes a fine brush gun and something 5 pounds is nice. As another member stated its great for states that only allow pistol calibers to hunt with. Would make a great addition to a .357 pistol for a camp gun as well. How do you see a rifle in s&w 500 being more practical? I must admit seeing the media cover that rifle at shot show. And thinking its a cool noevelty gun but it is in no way more practical, good bear or camp gun but beyond that I think its a bit much.

I am in for one. I like the caliber and have a hoot shooting with my 5 year old and his H&R trapper in .357. This will be a fun rifle for the desert.
