What If I hypothetically go shooting without it on since I may not have time to go to riflegear.... Will the port cover fall off during shooting?

Probably not. Why not leave the cover off for now? You dont technically need it.

Also since u have to take off the rail or foregrip to get the ejection port cover off. That rod will just be stoped by hitting the delta ring or your rail and nothing will come apart, just be real wobbly in the meantime.

Keep an eye on it and you will be fine.

I swapped mine out when I installed my engraved ejection port door without having to remove the rail. Just walk the pin back carefully, you'll have to tweak it some, but you won't bend it.

That little C-clip was a SOB though. I lost it and found it twice before I got it back in place.

That's cool, the rail mine has must be too thick because I'll bend it guarenteed if I try to get it out without removing stuff. I think the delta rings are a tad too big too.

Anyways good luck to the OP dealing with that c clip. They are pretty anoyying to deal with due to it's size

Saw a damn YouTube video without removing receiver, showed bending the little c ring and then pushing the rod back towards grip, then while putting back on bending the ring on it again, when I did that the lil ring snapped!
