I intend to apply to a department in So Cal when the freeze is over in the South Bay. My girlfriend was talking to a detective today from Hermosa and said he mentioned a site that listed what departments are on freeze and what are not but could not remember where it was and I can't find it. Does anyone know the site he could be talking about? He did say it was hard to find.

Thanks for the help
Brett

The post website will have a good listing of departments that are hiring.

Officer.com and POST website are pretty good sources.

You may want to contact them now and start the process (if they allow it). The whole profess generally takes about one year. In the mean time, start doing stuff to make yourself stand out. Learn a foreign language, get physically fit, work on your education, things like that.

http://policebackground.net/Forum/ is a great resource but they dont just list which agency is hiring.
