Rifle transfer to California Question. FFL to FFL only?

Hi Everyone:
I found a nice older Marlin rifle I've been looking for from a private party in Alabama. I know It must be shipped to my FFL here for transfer, DROS, and 10 waiting period, but does he have to have an FFL on his end ship it here? Thanks for any input. c good

Nope, FFL only needs to be on the recieving end. Check with your FFL though to make sure he will accept from a non FFL, eventhough its legal some FFLs wont dont that.
