I called Essential Arms to buy a lower (a nice black one) and I was told by Rita (nice lady) that as of TODAY...they can no longer sell lowers to Kalifornia!! What is going on!!!! :mad: Did DOJ get to them....?

She said that someone (?) told them that their product was "legally-questionable" .... Can someone call her to explain that their lowers are legal for sale....? I tried too, but I guess she needs more convicing...:( I just got off the phone 5 minutes ago.....

Talked to him.

He's a little lost, he saw the discredited May 9 memo pop up on the website.

I gave him my spiel, but also put him in contact w/NRA & its atty's.

It may take a few days for them to chat w/NRA/lawyers.

I'd say midweek.

Essential Arms is really only something to get excited about if you're on a tight budget or you're looking to add something new to a collection of lowers. Just call CWS or DDs and get a Stag.

I'm getting a nice lower after work (to add to the 2 at home:D )... I just wanted an Essential since it was priced VERY nicely....too good to pass up..... hopefully the sale will ease through next week.... (Thanks Bill)

There's always Ammo Bros's "LAR" for $175 near me.

IN a related note, there has been some mention of out of state dealer receiving " a letter" from DOJ.
Has anyone asked/gotten a copy if any such letter exists?

Ignorance of their own law allows for the intimidation in the first place.

And that's being optimistic about it.
