$2.99 can't beat their prices. I have two of them to hold my slugs and 00 buck.

I store all my ammunition in a hazmat locker I saved from the scrap metal bin. Currently I only have around 10k rounds in there, but still have A LOT of room. When I go shooting I just grab some ammo for the calibers/gauges I'm shooting and put the boxes in a backpack.

I have a large ammo can for my shotgun shells, not even sure what size, about same width as a 50cal but nearly 2 times as tall.

(all my ammo is in ammo cans and I put desiccant packs in all of them)

Do you want them stored in an organized fashion, or do you just want something to put them in to carry to the range? A lot of shotgun reloaders use a 5 gallon plastic bucket/pail. What about a large foot locker or steamer trunk? You might be able to find a steamer trunk at a garage sale or thrift store. If you want to carry a bunch of new boxes of shotshells, you can use one of those large heavy duty canvas tool bags you find at the hardware store. That is about the only thing that can hold a lot of weight.

If you just want something to keep your ammo dry and don't plan on using the storage bin to carry it, you can get a large plastic container, with lid, or a tote at almost any large department store or hardware store.

I store my ammo in one of these from Home Debauchery ($13).

5 Gallon buckets . . . drop from the reloader, down the shoot, and into the bucket.

Seriously, plastic ammo cans? What is this world coming to?!? Course a real ammo can weighs a ton fully loaded down.

I built custom shelves for my closet for various ammo. Stores them by the case or individual boxes.

i got a big *** one from cabellas this weekend and it became the 12 gauge can because of its size. plastic though, kinda clashes with my 50 cal cans

Thats why I love them! (the metal ones)

The plastic ones do suck. I had 3.... the hinges broke. so they were put to good use as targets :D

the dry box' from Cabela's will hold 300 loose rounds. The lid hinge's do suck on those. I grab that, to go to the range.

Metal ammo cans, and for longer term storage the ammo cans go in my old Stack-on cabinet that I added shelves in.
