I love it! Too bad you'll probably run into idiots yelling "racists go home!" or some other bull**** if you gather signatures in public.

In any case, spread the word guys!

I want to know why we voted to pass this the first time and they just removed it. The way I see it is if we vote and pass something then "they" must enact it. If they don't then can we just not pay attention to the laws they pass? Maybe we should just start picking and choosing which laws we want to follow.

Make sure you take a translator as the illegals don't speak English or gun.

And while most of us speak both languages the illegals don't speak either.

Memorise this line if your going to be hanging out at home depot.

Recepción al depósito casero.

Because people might pass really stupid things (not this one). The people somehow managed to pass Proposition H in San Francisco to ban handguns, but fortunately that got overturned by a judge.

Thanks for the heads up. I did a mass emailing top all my friends. Hopefully they'll get a clue.

Here was my text.

Many of you remember Prop 187. It provided that NO illegal aliens could receive public benefits and services like public education and healthcare and it passed with 58.8% of the vote in 1994. Court challenges afterwards rendered it unconsitutional and like the Mt Soledad Cross, the will of the people was stifled once again by an activist judicial system....

...We need 598,000 signatures by February 20th 2007....

...It is high time we wrestled our state back from the invaders. If we stop all the benefits and the jobs THEY WILL GO HOME. With your help we can get our country and our state back but it starts with YOU. Please donwload some petitions and reclaim your birthright!

Hey everybody. This is one of the reasons why I'm leaving the state of CA this July of 2007. Just because we're leaving, doesn't mean we don't care about those who choose to live in CA. If you don't realize that illegals are completely screwing up this state, then you're probably a lost cause and shouldn't be allowed to use the computer. For the rest of you, please do your part. Print out the petition, sign it, and then send it in. Print out many petitions even. Hand them to your friends. Or, you can continue paying for the illegal's free health care.

I find it totally inappropriate for this forum.

Unless, of course, you are dedicated to reinforcing every liberal's worst stereotypes about gun owners.

(By the way, I'll send out my signed petition asap.)

Not signing and if put to a vote, voting no. I simply find turning away a human in need is repugnant. Any Christian should.

Yeah, and people here wonder why the general public think gun owners are racist hicks. Sometimes I wonder if gun owner’s worse enemy is the gun owner. I totally agree with you.

I'm sorry we all aren't Christian missionaries. At what point do you say that is enough ?

I did sign it and am circulating it far and wide I'm so tired of all the Mexicans and other illegals that I run OVER (or into) on the streets that either cant speak a word of English and or because of them I have to carry uninsured coverage on my insurance. As when they HIT you they have no identity documents and no insurance they just take off leaving their derelict POS car to block traffic.

Will the Christians pay their way in place of the resources that they are draining off the system ?

I think not. Don't be generous with what is not yours to give away.

No racist here, but I will be sending out my petition along with my wife tonight. I forwarded this to four of my friends and they are to also have their wives sign one also. So here are ten more signatures in support of prop. 187. How do you like that? Someone needs to defend this country so get out of the way. I love how I can't even go to Taco Bell or McDonalds without having to repeat myself 50 f-ing times to get my order in because the illegal I am ordering from can't speak proper English. If you consider yourself an American with American values then you should believe that the U.S. is a melting pot. Well the problem with the illegals are they REFUSE TO MELT EVEN A LITTLE AND EXPECT EVERY RIGHT AS THOSE WHO REALLY BELIEVE IN SUCH VALUES. The extreme liberal way of thinking genuinely makes me want to vomit. I work for a wireless company where the culture is very diverse. Many people I work with have green cards or got their U.S. citizenship legally. Every single one of them who came here legally agree with Prop. 187. That's called honest culture.

So we should just wreck our economy to help people who are in this country ILLEGALLY? If you feel that they need help, make it your own personal responsibility to do so, get your church involved, etc. But to allocate our resources to a group of people who are here illegally and do not belong here, would be fiscally irresponsible and wasting resources that could have been put to better use on us, the citizens of this country.

Well I think this does fall under politics and laws. Should be moved to 2nd amendment, politics and laws forum.

And also, if you are against illegal immigration (and I don't know why anybody wouldn't be), why is that automatically equated with racism? It has nothing to do with race (although some people make it to be)! It is very simple: people enter our country illegally, and that shouldn't be happening.

My grandparents went through a lot of trouble and hardship to escape Communist China during the revolution there. They fled to Hong Kong, where they began the LEGAL process of immigration to the United States. Many other immigrants have come here the right way, the legal way and have had to endure many hardships to do so.

Illegal immigrants are not a special class of people who can just skip that process and come here, and then reap the benefits. It is totally unfair, and it is wrong.

Something must be done about this problem. And I'm not just referring to Mexican illegal immigrants, but ALL illegal immigrants.

And I'm not just referring to Mexican illegal immigrants (although that seems to be the main focus these days...

Probably because it's easier to cross the practically open border from Mexico into America than it is for somebody overseas to get here.

maybe you should go against legal immigration. Do you know how long does it take for people to get papers into the US? Some can take YEARS!

I would love to work in fields picking produce. I also think we should harpoon whales and dolphins to feed the starving people in the world.

This will never be enforced. First we need to find a a way to get all the lazy people in america on welfare(those abusing the system) into the field to earn a living, then take care of the immigration issue.

You've got a point there, but we need to have jobs in the fields for all the lazy people to actually perform. Currently they are performed by illegals.

I don't care what race you are, or how you came to live in America. If you don't pay taxes, don't speak english, don't have car insurance and don't do all the other legal requirements of this country you shouldn't be here, period. I wont turn away someone in need, I would nicely escort them back to there home country where they can apply for entry to this one, legally. It's completely unfair for people overseas to wait years to come here legally, and then have a few million cross the border illegally just "because they can".

This takes it home. My point exactly. I just don't understand how any citizen of the U.S. would disagree with this point. It just seems to be pure common sense. It's common sense that to steal and to murder is wrong, pure common sense tells me illegal immagration is wrong. I don't know how to be any more clear on this, hense my understanding of Liberals.
