Any body ever try it on a AK based weapon or Ar? I was at a local shop where an older lady purchased a 1911 and was unable to pull the slide back and the guy behind the counter took the gun apart put some of this grease on it and and she was able to easily pull the slide back afterwards, the guy made the comment that if it slides he uses grease and if it rotates he uses oil which got me thinking about my saiga 12.

IIAC, this is the same John Jardine that had a fitness business/heath club/gym ("Jardine's") on Mission Blvd. in Hayward. Used to work out there in HS. Don't know if it's still there. Just a piece of (possible) interest.

I use this grease on pretty much everything... from 1911s, AR based rifles, bolt guns, various .22s and my shotguns. This is the only grease I've found that does not break down when it get HOT. The grease isnt harmful to finishes or sights and stays where you put it. I've shot one of my 1911s close to 2200 rounds in a weekend and ahd the grease hold up. This is with a ton of dust/dirt blowing around, using mixed ammo. I swear by this stuff =)
