I was thinking about doin some duracoat on a coharie clone I have..

But I can't find any pics of a duracoated mp5 to see what it might look like..

Any one have any pics, any one seen one done??

Duracoat is Polane T by Sherwin Williams, it's essentially a automotive paint. That's why your able to mix flakes, prisms, and any color you want. It's 2 parts and you have to mix correctly or it's gonna look like crap, it also goes on thick, air cures and shouldn't be used for tight fitting parts that need to move.
Ceracoat is a ceramic that goes on thin and is some of the toughest stuff around. The downside with Ceracoat is if you smudge it or need to touch up, you'll need to blast and start over. Ceracoat will not stick to itself when cured. It is also 2 parts and needs to be mixed properly.
I use Moly Resin and Gunkote, 1 part, easy to use and clean up. Touch up is just warm the part, hit with solvent, and spray.

If you send it to missionspeccamo.com they will do a good job with the Duracoat.
