Well the title says it all, i want to paint my MOE to match my Magpul FDE panels, its black right now (idk if that really matters) and i want something thats not going to fade or worse flake off. I hear of Duracoating all the time but ive never actually held anything Duracoated so im not too familiar with the quality. What do you guys suggest and anyone know of a matching color?

DuraCoat is very resilient so longevity won't be an issue

I've read that Magpul FDE duracoat is way off from actual FDE magpul products.

Here are some pics I just took to illustrate what you just said about Magpul FDE Duracoat vs. a Magpul FDE PRS and FDE Ergo grip.

I have no knowledge of how well Duracoat will stick to plastic furniture without blasting the surface with aluminum oxide or some other type of media. Duracoat is peeling and flaking off of my scope already as you can see in the pic.

If you want it to match perfect, it's a MOE, just buy one in FDE and sell the black one you have.
