View Full Version : Anybody reload berdan-primer case here (SF bayarea)?
With the C&R market awash w/ surplus European WWII rifles and ammos, does anybody in the SF bay area reload their berdan cases. If yes, where do you buy the berdan primers locally?

While I am not in the bay area I do occasionally load Swiss berdan cases
(GP11 is just to good of brass to get rid of) I got 2000 berdan primers from grafs last year. There is no one that I know of presently that is selling Berdan primers but that may change. Keep an Eye out at Grafs.com and maybe midway now that they sell primers No one locally sells them either.:(

I'm not a reloader of Berdan primers, but I was curious where you could find these items. After much googling, I managed to find one site that had them. Try http://www.lockstockandbarrel.org/OwenGun/Stock.htm They had several listed all RWS, and several different sizes. Unfortunately, they are not cheap.
As a follow up.. I just figured out that they are also not local.. They ship from Australia  Maybe they can tell you where you can get them in the US.
