I know this isn't a rifle, but 1. You guys all seem extremely knowledgable, and 2. I couldn't exactly find a suitable place to post this. This is strictly a military-related post, so don't think I aim to eventually purchase this!

Check out the bullpup model in the brochure. Can anyone think of any potential issues this weapon could face if it was fielded? Any concerns? If given the choice, would you want to use this weapon over a traditional single-shot grenade launcher if you were in service?

It looks pretty out of date in comparison to the XM25, already in service, also semi-automatic, but instead of using the archaic iron sights is equipped with a laser rangefinger and smart air-burst grenades that detonate at the desired range.

The Metal storm gun, in contrast, is still using those archaic iron sights. Without the smart air-burst grenades and laser range finder, adding semi-auto just looks like a great way to make a whole lot of "bang" for very little "buck." This is the 2000's, we are better than "spray and pray."
