Hi I came across this rifle and thought it was pretty interesting.

http://www.ddsranch.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=277_290_353&products_id=801&zenid=nq194gdph8kttoud6r70nsigk1

I like the fact that it is a rifle that shoots 9mm ammo. What is your thoughts on this? Would you get it?

I am not very experienced in firearms but i may show this model to my father for him to consider in letting me buy if it is a decent rifle.

thank you for your time

I've read some good reviews on these. For the price, they seem pretty cool. Lifetime warrantee, too.

Don't have one but think they are pretty cool. Turner's has them on sale this week for $329.98.

Check the Hi Point Forums at:
http://www.hipointfirearmsforums.com/Forum/index.php

They have a dedicated sub-forum for the carbines so I'm sure you can find plenty of people who have and like these! Good Luck and let us know how she shoots if you get one! :D

hate be the use the search guy but............

Anyway, i've had mine over 1 year and love it, great for target shooting for up to 130 yards and i'm sure i could hit a man sized target up to 20 yards out if the round would have any power that far out

as far as how reliable, my 995 has been a tank.

does this require a bb?

does this require a bb?

Yes because of it being a center fire carbine and having a pistol grip.

Not a bad looking rifle. Wonder if the stock could be swapped?

Yeah I dig them but I don't. I think they are ugly as sin, but the price is very nice. I think I will just build a dedicated 9mm AR. Unless someone comes out with a really nice looking stock. The one linked above is still kind of ugly :)

I just DROS'd a HiPoint Carbine in .45ACP -

Virtually everyone I've communicated with - That actually OWNED one has been positive.

Just bought 4 more mags and a mag holder.

Now we wait.......
