Hello Calguns, I finally finished my first AR-15 a few weeks ago and just got around to uploading some pics. This is the build:

Spikes Tactical Mid length Upper,came with the MOE hand guard $499
JD Machine lower $130 after dros and tax
Magpul MBUS Gen 2 $55
UTG Stock & RRA LPK$160
C-Products 10/30 mag $16
Primary Arms M3 Red dot $90

Total for everything $950. I appreciate any and all comments!

Looks great! how do you like the PA M3 red dot?

It has a surprisingly solid mount with no wiggle at all. The dot is nice and bright indoors. When I took it outside than it was not as clear as it could be but it will get the job done. For the quality you get at that price range it cannot be beat!

Thank you all for the comments, I love that the AR is like a adults lego set with so many ways to configure it. I defiantly know I want a new stock and I'm leaning towards the Magpul MOE or CTR. I like that the ctr has the friction lock so it doesn't wiggle. Is there much or any wiggle to the MOE stock?

Man I remember when I put together my first AR. I got my stripped lower for about $200 after dros from a guy at a gun show. Then Obama became president. And it took me another year and a half to piece together the rest. All in all I payed WAY more than I should have. Nice build especially the total amount you spent.
