I don't have any AK, but if I were to buy a premade AK, would one of these magazines fit?

A quick question, what type of AK do you have?

I don't have one, but I want one. So I figure I'd buy the accessories even before I buy the gun. It might be a while to get one.I can't miss the opportunity to buy magazines at such low prices, but I don't know if they will fit. So I'm asking if those magazines will work for any type of AK I buy.

I hear AKs are ~$550 at gun stores.

There are some single stacked WASR's still floating around out there and those mag's pictured appeared to be double stacked mags(which is the normal version). Also if you buy a Saiga you will need to intsall a bullet guide to get those to work, but I don't see why those wouldn't work in normal everyday AK.

for the most part yes, but some may fit tight and some may wobble around. all depends if the dimples are correct. Stay away from single stack WASRs and CASARs from IOinc

YES, they will work for AK-47 style riffles. Those are chinese made 5 round mags with shortened followers to increase capacity to 10 rounds. sometimes (very rare) those short followers may tilt inside the mag body and cause failure to feed.

Those will not work with ak-74 style riffles.

I have two of those mags and they work great in my converted 7.62x39 Saiga (ie. I installed the bullet guide.)

Over the last year I have bought ten of those mags. They work flawlessly in all my double stack AKs in my possession.

I really enjoy 10/30 mags, but that's just my personal preference. Those mags should work fine, as others have noted.

In theory yes, in practice not really
