Magpul MOE is probably your best bet. MOE handguards, illumination kit, and VFG for about $60.

Make varying lengths; you can mount these using the holes under a std handguard.
$6

Yes you can buy a CAA TRM2. Its a bolt on rail system. I have it on my carbine and use it to hold my KAC VFG. They cost about $20.

http://www.opticsplanet.net/caa-triple-rail-mount-for-ar15-m16-m4-handguard.html look local to see if a shop near you has them.

I just mounted the center rail on the bottom handguard and the top 45 degree ones I tossed in a box. I was going to use them for a flash light and still may in the future.

here is the single rail http://www.opticsplanet.net/caa-3in-picatinny-rail-for-ar15-m16-m4.html

Did I miss that he had a 8 sided handguard tube system? these can NOT attach to handguards. this is what they fit on http://www.opticsplanet.net/advanced-technology-ar-15-carbine-two-piece-forend-combo-rail-package-with-two-6in-tw.html

Cheap KAC broom handle. You can do a full grip, 1/2 grip, mono-pod, pull resistance grip... its the best out there. All the others are fine too. I don't like the folding ones (folded they are still in the way) or the grip-pods (too heavy).

The stubby grips are ok, but you can only use a 1/2 grip on them. They are not long enough for a mono-pod rest and are too short for a resistance pull hold.

resistance pull hold is where your left arm is holding a flash light and you hook the VFG onto your forearm and pull back or push forward to steady the firearm. It can be done with a stubby, but its less secure.

My apologies. I'm having a hard time finding a link to the picatinny rail I used for my M4 HGs.

I used something similar to this:

That's funny, not that many years ago drilling their plastic handguards was one of the few options most people had to add accessories to their ARs. Glad I was a pistol shooter back then, everything is so much easier now.
