when I purchase an AK parts kit, is it legal for the seller to include a 30rd clip in it since it's a parts kit? I will perma-fix the mag and modify it to accept only 10rds but with the original look.

thanks

short answer: no

Long answer: no, because you would be receiving a 'high capacity' magazine.

No one will do what you are asking (send it with a kit), but there are vendors that will send any and all parts as replacement parts. You could get a 30rd mag body and permanently modify it to hold 10 rounds without creating a hi-cap mag.

where?

He makes 10 rounders from 30 round tubes.

Complicated Route:
Depending on the dealer, there are some who will disassemble the mag into parts and ship them as "Replacement Parts" only and you cannot assemble those parts into fucntioning magazines, you can only use them to repair damaged magazines that you have to have owned since before the AW ban.

Yet you can modify the mag parts to mfg. California Legal 10rnd mags.

Easier Route:
Contact JPglee1.
