I just bought a used but "new" DPMS 20 inch upper. It has the attached carry handle with rear sight. The peep sight on the back wont stay on either aperture. It wiggles wont stay on either one. Is this an easy fix? Thanks in advance.

Does it flip up and down loosely? It may be the leaf spring under the sight.

yes, im guessing number 8 as well. darn... Fairly easy to do? Im not a complete novice, i've built many lowers, but never really touched anything on the uppers besides changing hand guards to free floats.
