I finally received the CMMG upper from BroncoBob (great guy easy sale) I also picked up a stock from Sleepercar (also very helpful) and just came back from RifleGear where Matt helped me with a Spikes Zombie lower, Magpul 10/30 magazine, BB, spring/buffer all I need now is the LPK and to put it all together. I just wanted to say thanks again to Matt and RifleGear for making this a very easy transaction (I walked in 18min and I walked out) Now I am waiting the 10 days! Thanks again to everyone for helping me to get this rifle! :D

So I wanted to start a new thread but Im having trouble thinking of a thread name, so im typing it here cause it is related. I wanted to say that BroncoBob REALLY hooked me up!!! there is no icon to express it I mean its so big that I feel guilty I will be making a donation to CGF to pass it on. THANK YOU!!! :cheers2:

really?> what about it?

It puts out a much more agro shock wave to the sides than a 5.56 would otherwise.

Meh no big deal. Took me 7 months to build my .308. I purchased parts that can be swapped over to my AR later if I decide to upgrade. Kind of like the cheaper stuff getting handed down to the little brother :)

these are the times I wish I wasnt the only child. :(. I am going to get the MOE. Until I shoot an expensive trigger I wont know what its like......so if you see me at the range and you have some bad ***** trigger on your rifle dont ask me if I want to shoot it. :chris::p

HAHA nice, I have the palmetto LPK on my regular AR and the trigger feels fine for a 1 stage.

No worries Yugo, the standard trigger is fine. You can save for a competition trigger group while you are using the Mil-spec one. Just go get a DPMS/CMT/RRA/PSA LPK and get to building that bad boy rifle.

OP- looks good! although it seems that the CTR might be a little too light for that upper. interested on that range report!

OK range report is I zeroed it in at about 30 yards and I had about a 2-3 inch grouping at 40 yards and I was hitting metal targets from about 350-450 yards. I am very happy with it, although it did jam a few times maybe the ammo sucked Im not really sure?

I'm the Marines we zeroed at 36 yards. . . Is your setup any different? Nice rifle btw. Oh and as long as I kept my rifle and mags clean I rarely had any jams. Maybe take your springs out and make sure they are gliding properly.

let it all work in. When its up to about 500+ rounds, and you see a trend in jamming or failures...then start to troubleshoot possible problems. Until that time just shoot it. By 1000 rounds you should know the rifle and what it does and doesn't do.

Good Job

Nah.. If he's anything like a typical guy, all the rest of the cups are dirty or broken. It's coke..
I'm pretty sure I've eaten cereal out of a wine glass.

That's awsome, Man! It's great that the whole family is getting involved -- and that's a beauty of a build :)
I'm definitely up for a day at the range. Let's get that action worked-in!
