Very patriotic. I like it. I wish the XD engravings were a little deeper. Would make it much easier to paint those things.

Haha I got a Nikon D5000 and spent an hour reading the manual and still don't know how to do anything except the standard point and click and the hold and constant clicky click (kind of like full auto) haha

The irony of a paint filled USA on a gun designed and made in Croatia.

I see what you're saying, but SA adopted it as their own, so in essence, it is an 'American' firearm by make. But definitely not as American as the 1911.

Looks much better than what I imagined after reading the title.
Makes me think of the "Lime in the coconut song"!

Your lime green inspired me...I did this right now at work. What do you think? Red means stop green means GO!

Once I get my XDm9 Compact out of jail this weekend I'll figure out what to do with that... Maybe a red fading to orange? Haha
That lime green came out pretty nice, good job.

TBD, what is your name? I hate referring to people by their handle. Also, do you put a second or third layer after one dries to help fill it in better?

Ah ok cool. I think I'm getting out of hand with the coloring thing. I'm even starting to color logos and whatnot on the accessories. I even found myself painting the grooves in my AFG2 haha.

The most distressing part of this thread is the fact that all of these guys seem to have lime green nail polish in their immediate reach... creepy.

Normally I don't see the point to coloring lettering on receivers, BUT, the Red White and Blue on that XD deserves major kudos! I like!

Haha. The girl at the counter gave me a funny look when all I had was some nail polish and remover. "For a girlfriend?" "No, it's for me..." ...
