I have been waiting for these to come back in stock,
for a build or for the parts it just seems like a great deal.

http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=763495

They will not ship them here because of the 30 round magazine, I asked them if they could remove the mag and send it, "no we cant do that"

Bastards!

Try Copes Distributing, don't know if they have them, but they are willing to work with a customer.

larger companies often don't have the flexibility to make alterations to a product before it is shipped. And if they do remove that 30-round mag, then they have to deal with adding that mag into inventory. Or, they might not even have those items in stock at their location, and might be drop-shipping them from an outside location (they do this for powder and primers).

There are plenty of other retailers that will most likely have these.

Ship it to a middleman out of state or an FFL like Exile Machine who has a high cap mag permit.

Damn that sucks, you'd figure if they'd keep the magazine they'd do because they would be getting a free mag, but NO. Damn, try looking elsewhere.

you can always have it shipped to an out of state FFL and have them make it CA legal and shipped here.

Both Brownells and Midway are like this. I have spoken to both of them and they said that it was a combo of their lawyers and also their websites would have to be changed to reflect different states laws. Personally, I just think they dont want to bother...

Midway is way too big of a company for them to take that chance and why would they?

Don't you have a friend that lives in a free state? He can buy it from Midway and then send it to you. Just cost you a few extra bucks for shipping.

Im shocked companies will still to us in this state, instead of just plain out refusing to sale like on gun broker..

This right here.

I know Exile machine does a mag rebuild service, maybe they can take in this whole kit for you. You may just have to pay a little more for shipping, or give them your Shipper ID for UPS or Fedex.

I believe you can change the Shipping address to a friend's address out of state, then have him disassemble the magazine and send him some beer money.

That seems like a great price for the parts kit, but it doesn't say anything about having matching numbers.

Thanks for the link but Midway includes the sling, mag pouch, cleaning kit and that mag that keeps it from my possession.
Those 3 ship-able items cost another $30.00 from Apex.

ship to a friend in a free state, have them take the mag apart, then ship to you.
Problem solved.

Ok. So say you have it shipped to someone out of state, and then have them disassemble the mag and ship it to you. That's probably another $12 for secondary shipping. Then figure you buy your friend a 12pack of "oat soda" for their trouble. That's another $8-10. That's $22 right there.

I'm just saying for 8 bucks you could save your self alot of trouble.

If you read what it says "Parts Kit" then you should understand if they remove the mags for you then they break up the kit. Some of what they sell in the catalog isn't designed for Califronians due to our laws. Blame our laws and not Midway.
