Hey all i bought a used 700 build up and im trying to pin down which one i have so i can figure out which twist so i know my max grain bullet to load up for it. Its got a Factory Heavy barrel and a barrel length of 24 inches from crown to closed bolt face. I dont have my mic with me but the barrel at the crown is just over 3/4 of an inch wide. Any help would be great!!!!

What's it chambered in?

If you can't find the twist on the barrel you can determine it with a cleaning rod and a tight patch.
If you don't know we'll tell ya.

You just want to see the build up. Just ask. Like i said its not a factory gun anymore outside from barrelled action

I finally got unlazy after all this junk and ran a patch and jag down. The best i can make out is 1-10 it was a little bit more but the patch was kinda loose and im sure it slipped a little going down. SO I just rounded down

Even if its a 1:12 you can run up to 175s. If it is a 1:10 you can run up to 190s with slower (4350 - RL17) powder.
