Hey folks. I just bought 2 Superior Arms lowers for $88 a piece and am now planning my first build.

My first build is a 9mm...and have a few questions...

Has anyone been able to mod any 10rd mags to fit either the Colt/RRA or Oly arms blocks? I saw some mention about Sig 226 mags, but no one mentioned specifics. Has anyone modded some 10rd mags to work? Also, is anywhere offering a Glock mag block? Or how do the Oly Arms Glocks work?

Thanks all.

The link below, has a dude who uses Sig 226 mags in his RRA 9mm upper. He apparently did mod some and they work fine.

One option is going with an Olympic style upper and getting a 10 round modified Sten mag from Olympic Arms. They were $65 each  about a year ago.

You don't have to mod the Sten mags, if you use the no-mods-required Sten magblock.

Then, as far as getting 10rd Sten mags... well, just post that you're interested, the Mag-Modder Folks (tm) will get in touch with you. :)

C Products should have commercially made 10 round 9mm magazines next week. As soon as I have them I will let everyone here know.

I modded a P226 mag to fit my RRA setup, However I have no idea if it will work with the Oly set up.
It's really simple, with the rifle upper and lower together (and no evil features) remove the standard mag catch. Place the SIG mag up into the magblock until it stops mark the P226 mag with pencil through the open magcatch hole. (Leave like a 1/16" between the bolt and the clip). re attach the standard mag catch. Drill the clip and sqare the hole off with a file until the mag catch holds the mag. Only drawback is it is a pain to load in fixed mag configuration.

I did this a while ago because of the lack of 10 round mags. You would be better off waiting for the 10percent mags.

What defines "commercially made"

Does that mean they are all-new products made on machinery w/no surplus in them?

If so..thats really cool

So then how would you affix the mag? Or are you just planning on taking off the evil features?

Are you asking ME??

My 9mm carbine has no evil features to begin with. aside from the detachable magazines.

If you want to fix the Sig mag you can use any of the Mag lock kit availabe for a regular 223 10 round mag
