New I am a member here- I've seen the other threads but I wanted to get a current update before I made a order for mag rebuild kits- Is it STILL legal? Any good sources?
thanks for your help

There are at least two current topics on this.

Yes they are still legal, and they will continue to be so for a long time. It is still against the law to manufacture a new 'high capacity' magazine from parts, however, replacing or repairing worn/damaged parts in your existing 'high capacity' magazines is still perfectly legal.

Mods,
Please close and or delete this thread before it becomes another one of our typical mag threads.

What type of magazines are you looking to refurbish? Brownells has AR mag parts and maybe other types too.

I am looking to rebuild the mag bodies for AR & M1A mags. I know of Brownells and am looking for any other good sources. Thanks for your help!
