I have an extra weaver rail and a gripod for my AR build and was thinking about adding the rail to the bottom of my 10/22 wood stock grip. Is it as easy as drilling the holes into it? Will it work? I tried googling it but just came up with sales sites.

Hmm would using E6000 type glue be acceptable?

I like to work with wood.

Drill the holes. Recess (counter sink)the inside of the stock to accept a washer , lock washer and locktighted nut. Dry fitted to be sure the bolt doesn't protrude.

IMO a sling stud and a bipod attached to it is a better idea.

I don't know how to do anything that you just said but I do thank you for telling me what to do. Don't have any wood working tools but this barrel band would probably work. A little pricey though

Would still rather utilize the rail I have laying around but my lack of skill might prove costly

Corona. Just east of the beautiful hills of Anaheim. What would something like this cost me?
