Shoot about 1000 CCI Mini Mags to break in the gun then the Mosquito will be more tolerant to other brands of ammo.

I use CCI, Fiocchi high Velocity and Aquila 60 grain Sniper Sub Sonic.

Ok guys. I bought 3 magazines @ $30 each & CCI Mini Mags @ $30+ tax for 500 rounds. So now I have 2K rounds of Mini Mags

That is great. Now go and have fun! And let us know at the end of 1K and 2K rounds how it goes.

The mags I bought from a dealer @ the crossroads of the west gunshow. Same with the CCI I bought from LAX Range @ the show also

I polished the feedramp on my Mosquito, and eliminated the 'step' before it enters the chamber. Now I can use any ammo in it with no problems..well, except subsonics and that's just because they don't quite have enough push.

If given the option, I prefer the metal mags

I bought the metal magazines from CTD and they worked great. They are real Sig Sauer AFAIK.

I picked up my Mosquito today and shot about 750 rounds. Didn't polish the ramp, didn't clean it much, just added some CLP, racked the slide about 20 times and made sure the bore wasn't obstructed.

100 rounds of CCI mini-mag were flawless. Had 5 or 6 FTF/FTE out of 100 with Rem Thunderbolts, won't get those again. Had some FTF/FTE with CCI blazer, shot about half of the 525 brick, probably won't get those again either. Had a couple FTF/FTE with Rem Golden, shot about of half the 525 brick, may get some more of those if the price is right. Have a bunch of CCI mini-mag coming soon, so will see how it does with a larger number.

I had to adjust the windage about 5" at 25 yards. Also swapped the front sight for the medium height as all the shots were low. Then with the medium front sight, most the shots were high even when lolly-popping the target. Didn't get very good groups, but not expecting much as the sights are on the slide and it isn't a very tight fit to the fixed barrel.

Yes, the trigger isn't nice, though was able to hit the steel silhouette at 25 yards in double action mode. It works for inexpensive fun plinking with cheap ammo.

What is CLP?
