.45acp can I use large pistol magnum primers

I bought a cas eof primers today and wasnt paying attention to the box I thought it said large pistol primers but in fact they were large pistol magnum primers. Am I gonna blow something up or is it ok to use them in .45 acp loads. I know alot of guys that load small rifle primers into 9mm and .38 super but I want to know if the magnums are going to cause a problem in the .45acp

Reduce the powder load to the starter load recommended in your reloading manual and work back up to the pressure/velocity that you want.
