If anyone has any photos of AR's with free float monolithic quad rails while using the A2 front sight post, please post. I'm trying to get a good idea on how this looks, I like the M4 look, but also like the free float tube system.

are you looking for something like the RIS II, or a true monolithic upper like the LMT?

Here is the RIS II

Something like that, but in a carbine length. That looks very nice though!

hmm...i've only seen this setup before with the COLT 6940, but even that uses a flip up front sight.

Why would you want to spend all that money on a monolithic, only to be confined to a 7" handguard?

That looks good.

Long story short, I have a MI T-Series 7" free float rail, and I was wondering if I should just keep that set up or not. I love the rail and everything, but I just love the military style M4 with KAC rails look. I actually have the MI free float rail for sale in our marketplace, see my sig.

i see. so not actually a true "monolithic" upper, but just a standard 7" FF with no gap between the upper receiver and handguard. there's like 200 pages in the picture gallery, you should be able to find plenty of examples.
