View Full Version : Range report on my new Beretta M9A1
Hi Calgunners, this is my first post so please bare with me. I picked it up three days ago and went to the range today and I am going to say I love it! :D No malfunction, very soft recoil, good SA trigger break right out of the box and very accurate if you do your part. I highly recommend this gun to anyone. This is my first handgun but I am not a new shooter, I used to go shooting with my buddy a few times. Anyway I shot 150 rounds of Federal 115g at 23 feet. I know that I need to work on my trigger control to shoot tighter groups next time( DRY FIRE, DRY FIRE).

Good stuff, M9A1!
I recently bought a 92FS but have not had the chance to go to the range because I've been so busy. I should be lucky to shoot that well with mine soon! :)

congrats and welcome! I have a 92FS and the only thing I did was switch to Hogue grips which feel a little better than the original grips.

That light looks quite good on the M9A1 (which I just picked up as well). Is it a TLR? Do you like it?

Holy geeze you suck..
Not at shooting.. Only because you took your M9 out today.. I don't get to pick mine up until Monday and will be going to the range Monday night.. That and I'm not very accurate with a handgun so I doubt my targets will look like that.. So yes I'm hatin on ya.. =)
Other then that.. Hearing how much you liked it makes me want mine even more.. Why does the store have to be closed on Sunday?

Great gun, but put a Surefire X300/400 on it please. The M9A1s look amazing with the Surefire lights on them, and wrong with anything else.
