Just wondering where the best place is to pick up a new AR15 lower parts kit.

stag or delton works fine...DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT get vulcan, model1sales, or dpms lower parts kit. They are crappy. The stag and delton kits I've used fit well (plus no parts missing like in the dpms) and need no modifications.

Where did you get them from and how much can I expect to pay?

I've put two lowers together, one Lauer with a Stag LPK and a Stag lower with a RRA LPK, both went together fine. The RRA seems a bit nicer than the Stag, but the Stag is fine too. I agree with Charliegone, stay away from vulcan, model1sales, or dpms.

I got my LPKs from Wes at 10% Firearms.

Cost was about $50-$55.

Buy them from Wes. I personally can vouch for the fact that you SHOULD NOT buy a model1 kit... Search for my thread on the stuck safety detent or ask me to tell you the story of my broken mag catch...

My first Bushmaster lower kit was a pain to install. Got a set of RRA and installed without a hitch. I have the Mega lower receiver.

I have put together a stag with a stag LPK and that went very smooth. All I needed was a pair of pliers. My CMMG with DPMS kit was a little harder. I needed a hammer and punch to install the pins for the trigger and hammer. Both work perfect and figment was good.

I would also disagree with any negative comment about the Bushy LPK. Friends of mine installed Bushmaster LPKs into Stag lowers at the same time I was installing my Model1 (ouch)... The Bushys were very nice.

I have installed many Stag and RRA LPKs over the last year and I like the RRA a tad bit more than the Stag. Both seem to fit in the lower fine and I can recommend either one without reservation.

I think my opinion would be way too biased if I told you where to buy them, so I will just leave my comments on the quality. :D

I got mine from delton.com and the other parts kit direct from stag.

I just picked up a couple of RRA LPKs with the 2-stage trigger from tenpercent. Least expensive ones I found online.

i second that motion about RRA 2 stage triggers!!!! people have told me that its worth the extra money. and its true!!!! spend a little extra and get the RRA 2 stage triggers. 10% is the store you want to buy from.

'course, all that chat about the RRA Stage 2 triggers has put poor 10% out of stock... :( Maybe that's for the best, as Christmas has already been a little outta budget already.

I think I actually did that before the conversation started. I have two CMMG's that come out of the 10 day cool off early next week.

I bought 6 kits from Midway when they had them on sale for $49.99. I believe they are DPMS's kits and I have had zero, zilch. nada, No problems with them at all........
