View Full Version : Does Sig still make any guns without rails?
I would like to pick up a new Sig (226, 229 or 220) but I do not want the rail. Does anyone know if they make any without the rail?

Check out the SAS models or the classifieds.

If you can't find one here, try Sigforum. I was able to buy a NIB 229 without the rail a few years ago, this was quite awhile after Sig had started making only railed guns.

Why no rail? You don't have to hang anything off of it.

Sig P210 (http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p210.aspx)
Sig P232 (http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p239.aspx)
Sig P238 (http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p238-nitron.aspx)
Sig P239 (http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p239.aspx)
Sig P250 Subcompact (http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p250-subcompact-nitron.aspx)
Sig P290 (http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p290.aspx)
Most of their 1911 (http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/1911-nitron.aspx) line.
But if you want a pre-railed P220/226/229, you gotta go used (or CPO).
The only classic P series models they have left with no rail is the revived P210, P225 and P239.
