I have a magpul MOE 6 position stock and tube on my AR type rifle. I bought my buffer and spring at the gunshow and I'm starting to think maybe my spring is too long. I notice other people very easily charging with one hand, which I can do, but it seems like they are doing it much easier. I'm thinking I have to much tension or too long of a spring. What length should my spring be when it's out of the tube

Carbine length = 37-39 coils, 10.5"
Rifle length = 41-43 coils, 12.75"

Ok I have a rifle length, this may be why my gun is short stroking

Resist the temptation of cutting off coils to get the correct length. Spend the $5 and get the correct spring
