$549 plus Transfer. Totally worth it and it shares weatherby vanguard parts. Easy to work on and can sell for what you have in it or most of it later on down the road when ready to move up.

If you really want to get a decent setup, go to buds, get a Tikka T3 Lite .308 for around $500, buy steel Leupold rings, Decent base for $40 bucks, and put a Bushnell banner 4-12x40 till you can afford better glass. You'll be out about $650 or so and have a great little shooter. It will shoot 5 shot 3/4" groups at 100 yards all day if you can do your part.

Buy this: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=430465&highlight=remington+pss+%24650

Then save up for a decent scope to top it off. I've personally seen this rifle shoot sub 1/2 MOA at 100 yds. It's a great deal.
