Which magazines, but more importantly, will it fit an Armalite upper?? This will kick all kinds of ***.

That seems to be a DPMS magazine, and the cut in the back of the receiver looks like it'll take a DPMS 308 upper only. I think the trigger guard has to go though.

That...is a thing of beauty.

Unfortunately no. Looks like it all/only DPMS compatible. Congrats tho. You beat RRA in releasing a 308 lower.

Here's the response I just got back from POF about their .308 lower. Guess we can't acquire them directly from POF. Just uppers and such only.

POF RESPONSE:
We are in production stages now. We hope to have them available for purchase in January. We cannot sale to California. Sorry we cannot help you.

Its too bad this guy is cheesing out on the CA market. I wonder who does his machining? Maybe we could talk them into making a CA-10

POF was working on a 308 piston upper, and I assume this lower was designed for that?

Their web site lists a price of $250 MSRP for the 5.56 lower receiver. I'm afraid to think how much they are going to charge for the new .308 receiver. I think I'll stick to building up my FAL for now.

From viewing their website I would say yes.

They have the special bolt carrier and upper receiver.

No different than when Fulton refused to sell to 10% at least this guy is being upfront about it rather than what Fulton did with intimidation from doj.

The DOJ intimates them about 308's in particular? Thats probabaly why Armalite won't do anything. Maybe it will be better when the new year sets in.

BTW. I like that someone made a commercial AR10 lower but I don't like the trigger guard (kinda funky looking) and the safety text. I just want mine to say safe or fire (no nonsense)

This was alot earlier in the year have a look at blacklisted's OLL History thingy it will tell the tale I think. or when 10% sees this thread he can chime in.

Its not about 308 caliber receivers its just about receivers coming in from out of state. They dont like it. DOJ that is. from what I understand the deal on Armalite is their listed receivers. this new billet item is not.

I don't see anything in this thread, http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=12&t=304375&page=2

That specifically states he won't sell to Ca. He states they will sell to an FFL, which there are plenty in Ca. willing to do business with him I'm sure.

He keeps stating
We sell our products to FFL licensed dealers.
Best regards,

Frank

So it's time to test him and have a Ca FFL call him to find out just whether that is true or not.

So it's time to test him and have a Ca FFL call him to find out just whether that is true or not.

Already been done multiple times, he has "no knowledge" of his receivers being sold in CA. That is why CWS and other out of state FFLs are in big business.

POF-USA has never shipped receivers directly to California. They will sell uppers without a problem though.

Just typical CYA. Maybe after 1/1/07 we can convince him to sell them straight through and cut out the middleman. If not, then who knows what the price might be.

Well here's an option for those in the 308 market.........

We should have a few of these in hand, soon.

We'll be at the CROSS ROADS / SAR show in PHX this weekend, where the tables will be, I haven't a clue, yet.

Don't ask me about price, cause even I haven't been told yet.

If you don't have anything to do this coming wkend come out to the SAR show....it kicks ***, Plus I'll prob be running some special if your from CALI.
