I just purchased a Smith & Wesson, model 637, Power Port Pro Series. I guess this revolver already comes with all the "bells and whistles" from the S&W pro shop center.

Well, I already have a S&W 637 stainless. I was wanting to smooth out the trigger and perhaps give it a lighter trigger pull. I've been told by folks not to change the main/rebound spring on this revolver. I was told if this is your CCW weapon, leave all stock springs in place.

Alan Tanaka suggested I get a few parts stoned/polished and replace the springs. He said there shouldn't be any issues after spring replacement.

I called Smith & Wesson last week and they too said their trigger jobs consist of spring replacement too.

Alas, what shall I do?
