Trying to decide if I should keep this or not. I think it's one of the best looking and "sexiest" guns I've ever seen, especially with the patriotic laser etching, but it's not my favorite to shoot, only because it's not the best "Natural Fit" for my hands. (Fat grips, small hands)

I'm thinking of trading to a guy for a little 1985 ATC 70 3-wheeler to play around on as a camp cruiser out in the desert. As far as cash value, I figure the gun's worth a little more, most stock 70's like this one sell for about $500.

I'm sort of torn, especially since this is commemorative of 9/11 and finally getting Osama, part of me feels like I should keep it just because.

I usually don't like to get rid of guns or surfboards just because, but I have other guns and I don't have a 26 year old little kids 3-wheeler for my inner child to rock around the campfire.

What do you guys think? Think this could become any sort of "Collectable"?

I would keep it or sell it for more and then get your 3 wheeler. Use the extra money for gas.

Dude, I'd keep it. You'll regret selling it. Keep it as a possible family heirloom if you don't want to shoot it anymore.

Keep it. Heck I'll trade you a 2007 YZ-85 + cash on your side for it. Though the YZ has a bit of a pull for little kids.

It sounds like you really don't want to get rid of it. I would say keep it and just purchase the 3 wheeler separately if possible.

For whatever reason it seems like it's much easier to deal with losing something you never had, than letting go of something you already own.

You must have tiny hands... I've always considered myself to be a bit small in the hands department but the 96 and 92s always fit my hands nicely. Have you tried thinner grips on it?

I'd certainly keep it, I love the 96 and if I had one I'd never let it go!

IMHO, not sure how much of a collector item it will be, especially if used. The collectors value is only worth what someone will pay for it.

If you don't like it and won't shoot it, (if your like me and like to shoot) get something you will. :D

I changed to the wraparound Hogue's with the finger grooves which helps, and it's not super bad, it's just not as good a fit as some of my other guns.

Ubermcoupe, it's not that I don't like it or won't shoot it (I do and I will) it's just not my absolute fave.

God, it is a beautiful gun though. I think maybe I should go to the range tonight.

So it sounds lie it's pretty much unanimous, keep it or "Yeah, they're hideous, you should sell it...to me" which translates to keep it.

You guys kinda' made me realize which way I was already leaning.

Thanks for being the voice of reason and talking me down, I think I probably would have regretted it later if I had sold it.

If it's too big with the wraparounds... take them off.

I don't have what you'd call "large" hands, but they fit great on a stock 96 set of grips.(same as 92.)

I would keep it! I have looked for a 96 for quite a while and now that they are back on the market, the Inox is on my wish list.

Yeah, I currently have a "grown-up" 3-wheeler ('85 ATC 350X) but I was thinking about trading the gun for a "mini me" 3-wheeler. ('85 ATC 70)

This is like asking the guys at a porn site whether you should give up porn.

Answer: Never!
