All for the low low price of $11,900....

Any 20MM rifle would be considered a Destructive device and hence a NFA weapon if you lived in 35 out of the 50 states that allowed NFA Weapons then it would be legal for you to possess with a 200.00 tax stamp.

I don't remember if the projectiles each have a stamp on them or if its just the rifle but if your question is is this item legal here? then the answer would be NO.

Ted don't forget federal law trumps state law.

Definite Destructive Device, both under Ca. and Federal Law. Good luck getting an NFA item in Ca.

But, the 14.5 JDJ from SSK Industries should be legal in Ca. The 14.5 JDJ has a Federal exemption so it's not considered a Dest Dev, don't know how they got it but it is. At 1100+ grains at 2600+fps it should be a potent sucker, caliber comes out to .57 cal. Uses necked up 50BMG brass so the hardest component you should have finding is the bullets. Should be a bit more affordable for base rifle and ammo.

I just saw this on a website and wondered...was almost certain it was no in CA.

Itll probably be fun to shoot, but hurt your pockets at $15 a round....:)

I have a 20mm ;)

Can you say 'bag gun' ?

http://www.hunt101.com/img/417749.jpg

It runs on 450gr of 50cal powder wraped in foil behind a 20mm projectile  It is fuse fired and a major kick in the *** to shoot. It has been changed slightly from thet pic but thats my cannon.

If I can get my hands on some fuse I want to take it to panoche for our next get together.

I forgot to mention.. hehehehe it's not a gun and unregulated. When I get my next one built this one will be for sale. (shameless plug ;)

A 20mm BP is legal; I'm using a Vulcan barrel with a cut chamber. Now a 40mm, that'll be nice.

Why not run 20mm brass, percussion primed conversion, necked down to .50BMG... hehe...talk about a barrel burner.

I personally wanna do a .50BMG-based "spotter" chambered rifle. Legal and easy to get brass for.
