Hi All. I've been wanting to buy/build an AR for some time now. I've been lurking around the site, trying to get as much information as I can (which is more than I expected!). My neighbor came by yesterday and told me Ammo Bros. Was having a sale on a Stag lower, so I went and picked it up. From what I've read, and seen (Brownell's video series), I need the stripped lower, lower kit, upper, buttstock, magazines and from there, all the accessories my heart (and budget) desires. Is this it? Anything I'm missing?

Thanks.

From what I've seen, many of the lower kits include this. If not, I'll make sure to grab one.

Lower kits include them!? then I got ripped out of $25-30 bucks then! GRRRR!!

By the way, you will also need buffer and spring, sights if you want to be able to aim with your rifle, bolt control group and charging handle.

No. Lower parts kits from manufacturers DO NOT include a bullet button. None of them.

You may be able to buy them as a package at some FFL's but I've never seen it.

Here's the best deal I could find on bullet buttons right now:

Looks like I need to start a checklist...

Thanks

Okay, thanks. Thought that is what I was looking at when "window shopping" last night online. There were a couple of kits that i was looking at from specific website. I'll add this to the list.
