Newbie Question Concerning CA. Gun Shows

I have a old Garand with a flash hider 1. Is this legal 2. Can I take my rifle to a gun show to either trade it or sell from a private party to another private party 3. I have owned the rifle for 5 years and recieved it from pops who had for some time is there any sort of paperwork that needs to be done?

Yes, an M1 Garand is legal with a flash hider, as long as it hasn't been modified to take detachable mags.
