Kind of pricey but nice is the Magpul PRS - makes a good sniper stock

I saw that. I'm trying to justify the price.

I finally got around to taking a pic of my build so I thought I would post it so you could see the stock. I found the PRS for $215 at islandtactical.com.

Not quite done though - I hope Santa will leave me some optics, a Harris bipod, and a railed free float tube with some dark earth ladder rail guards in my stocking this Christmas :)

It's hard to justify until you use one with a scoped rifle back to back with an A2 stock. Definitely worth the $240 shipped I payed for mine.

I've never understood the point of a pinned collapsible stock? If you can't have a collapsible why not use one of the other good stock options on the market or a standard A2, many of them offer better cheek welds than a collapsible, and are sturdier.

i agree. maybe if youre concerned about a certain "look", then you might go with one of those. then again, if youre concerned about looks, you wouldnt go gripless in the first place, imo.

ps - the pinned ds-4s dont have the provisions for adjustability. the buffer tube is blank.

There's the ACE ARFX. It's comfy and not too pricey. I have one on my AR and I like it.

Question about the PRS Stock.

Can I use my current A2 buffer tube with it?
