Ok so here's the deal. I had a Trijicon TR24 but the green triangle is not for me. So now I am looking into getting either a Trijicon TR24-3G or a Vortex Viper PST 1-4. I have done a lot of research and googled trying to find a comparison but with not much luck. So just curious what you guys think. Also if i decide to go with the vortex should i get the moa or mrad reticle?

This will be for my Daniel's Defense M4 16". I usually shoot at Burro Canyon so typically shoot at about 200 yards but would like to be able to reach out farther. I am fairly new to ar's and could use all the advice i can get. Thanks!

a ta31 is the way to go on a 16 barrel m4, in my opinion anyway

If you're doing simple paper punching the TR24 would be a good way to go. The reticle is simple and would be great out to 300-400 yards. The Accupoint series is just amazing quality. The PST would be a good way to go if you want to do a little finer tuned shooting. Those reticles are designed perfect for transition shooting between longer distances, say 50 yards out to 200 yards, ver quickly. A little range time and some scope dope would make you very accurate on the fly. Retcile is preference. They are both matched mil/mil or moa/moa. Mil/Mil is probably the more in demand model due to the direct connection to the mil radian spacing in a mil dot reticle.
