I want to pick up 1-2 CA legal Yugo SKS's but theres no around the Bakersfield area for a reasonable price that Ive seen...

I think $140-$175 is a decent price if its in decent condition. Anyone have suggestions?

Auction arms and gunbroker might have a few.

I have them but they are $225. You can always come take a look and if you don't like it make a counter offer or don't buy it. www.tenpercentfirearms.com

If you come over and I am not there, Becky doesn't cut breaks on anything. You might have to wait for me to be there.

Buy from IO (Interplace Ordnance) then find a kitchen-table FFL locally to DROS for ya.

Over at AMMO BROS, you can pick up an YUGO SKS at $200 a pop, they have a few. M59s no glauncher. then you can pick up 7.62x39 wolf for very cheap. I think its like 170$ for 1000 rds. Give em a call though, might be cheaper/little more.

Maybe it was supposed to be Inter Ordnance? http://www.interordnance.com/

I don't think so though because I just looked and I am pretty sure they are all out.

Interordnance ran out some months ago. At the time they said that was the last batch they'd have.

In the last year I'v picked up two Russians online, both all stamped matching, for decent prices.

I really believe that SKSs are overlooked by some. A Yugo SKS is a great gun for the price. Just think what it would cost of something of that machine quality were newly manufactured. They are terrific rifles (or possibly carbines...depending on how you choose to categorize them). The are reliable, robust, general offer decent accuracy for what they are, and are simple to maintain and operate. They're great rifles anywhere, but here in California they're a particularly good choice. Maybe they lack the sex appeal of an AK, but you're really getting a lot of gun for the price. A $350 Russian SKS is chrome-lined, milled, and like all SKSs...solid as a rock.

Huh? "Store coming soon" ??? I think it said the same thing 1 week ago when I tried their website...

I guess they won't mind if my order is in a perpetual state of "coming soon" then either.

Their website has always been like that. It's useful for getting their address but that's about it.

They're good folks, though. Go see them in person.

They don't sell off the website. They are a bulk dealer. They are always at the shows selling buttloads of ammo. Just Call then go in and pay/pickup what you want.
